To Validate Components using the Model Validation Control

  1. Select Validate Model from the Managers Tools Group.
  2. Click the Validate button. Any invalid components will be listed in the list by Tag Number and Class.

    A descriptive prompt of the invalid component is displayed at the bottom when it is highlighted in the list.

  3. Click the Browse button next to the invalid component to display the Properties dialog. If the validation error is caused by a setting in this dialog, correct the problem and save. As each component's invalid state is corrected, it will be removed from the control.
